On Trantor, Brother Dawn is now a teenager and there appears to be something going on with him. After he throws himself off of his balcony he seeks out a young gardener who was a witness. After learning that a major religious figure passed away Brother Day starts to wonder if Hari Seldons predictions are starting to come true. This causes a rift between him and Brother Dusk.On Terminus, the Anacreons have arrived and the Foundation finds itself unprepared. The Encyclopedists still hold out hope the Empire will intervene, but Salvor Hardin thinks they need to act. She is having visions that are making her question what to do next. Lewis Pirenne tells her that shes an outlier because of her connection with the Vault. He says that there is no way Psychohistory could have factored her into the plan.It appears that the two storylines will collide in episode 5. As Brother Day left to attend to the problems with the conclave, Brother Dusk sent a ship to investigate what happened to the communications buoy in the Outer Reach. Episode 4 is the first time the primary Cleon left Trantor since the genetic dynasty began according to Demerzel.At the end of episode 4, we finally see Gaal Dornick again in the escape pod. It looks like shes in suspended animation or cryosleep, and this shot hints that shell wake up soon. It's still a mystery what happened to Raych after Hari's death on the slow ship.
